If your basement flooded due to a storm, broken water heater, backed up drain, failed sump pump or other appliance, don’t worry, call Len the Plumber! At the first sight of a flooded basement, we advise that you do not go into the basement or touch anything until the electricity has been turned off because of the possibility of electric shock.
Depending on the source of your flood, sewage contamination is a possibility. For this reason it’s a good idea to minimize contact with your skin. Protect yourself by wearing gloves and rubber boots.
And, as always, if you smell gas leave the house immediately. Contact your local fire department to come out and assess the situation.
Our plumbing technicians service Baltimore County, Baltimore City, Howard County, Montgomery County, Prince Georges County, Anne Arundel County, Harford County, Carroll County, and Cecil County.
