Now we know it’s a stretch to consider getting your dad a new throne for his kingdom, but if this is a gift you could pull off with your father, we can help you in that department as well. With so many options we thought we’d break down what is out there to help you narrow down what your father may need.
Do you have an eco-conscious or penny-pinching padre? Low flow toilets and dual flush toilets are becoming popular as they use less water to flush waste down. Do be careful as some low-flow toilets don’t seem to have enough power to flush waste down and the flush does not effectively clean the bowl. Dual-flush toilets alleviate that issue by giving you an option based on liquid waste vs. solid waste.
Does your baba need a “manly” flush to ensure there are no clogs after a visit to the kingdom? Check out the pressure assisted toilets that ensure that your toilet will never clog. The biggest complaint with these types of toilets is how loud the flush is.
Does papa need a little extra leg room when sitting? Try elongated toilets vs. standard size. Some consumers prefer elongated toilets because the shape is more comfortable when sitting, offering an additional 2” over the standard round toilet. For others this does not matter.
Is your pop on the tall side or getting up there in age? Ergo-height or comfort height toilets are available for them. These toilets sit 2” higher, more like a chair, than the average toilet, which is helpful for adults who might have trouble getting up and down from a sitting position.
Did you know that there are also hi-tech toilets now? This could appeal to the must have tech-geek dads. Kohler manufactures a toilet that offers motion sensor activated lids and seats as well as heated seats. The toilet also has integrated feet warmers, built in speakers and “illuminated ambient light panels.” It comes at a hefty price, but is truly a throne for royalty.
If you have the father with the sense of humor that would enjoy a new throne for Father’s Day, we can order and install any style toilet that you like.
