How Much Needs to Be Replaced?

For those who wish to continue using copper (or who would like to switch to this material), rely on a professional plumber to have this installed. Copper piping requires soldering, which is definitely not a DIY job! Other choices are PEX and PVC pipes, which are both code-compliant, cost-effective, and can sometimes be better depending on what they’re being used for.
